Did You Hear That?

Posted By on April 24, 2008

The kid has figured out the buttons on the key fob for the car. The husband has not.

It’s not a complete day around here unless the husband acidentally sets the car alarm off at 5 am. And then the kid has to do it six more times throughout the day. She’s too smart, that one. As soon as she wraps her chubby little fingers around the plastic, her eyes light up. She goes straight for the big red button.

Really, we’re just doing our duty and providing that friendly neighborhood wake-up call.

Ah man. I am just waiting for my son to figure that out. Thank goodness that hasn't happened yet. 911? Yeah, twice. Car alarm? Not yet.

Um, yeah. The keys stay out of reach for that very reason.

But a big red shiny button just begs for a toddler to press it.

Amy thinks that everything she isn't allowed to play with is 'Daddy's'.

Keys are Daddy's. Sunglasses are Daddy's, the remote? Is Daddy's. *sigh*
