I have a problem. An obsession. Perhaps an unhealthy obsession. An obsession that I waited 14 long, baby-hair growing months to have.
Pig-tails!!!!
It is finally long enough to consistently go up and stay up. And I’m loving our little Piglet’s new look.

The ‘mother accepting the news’ situation has dissipated and we’re now spending our vacation only walking on eggshells every once in a while.
All parental units have been told, and that was, by far, the best reaction. One for the history books.
That is too adorable! I know many of my friends who had little girls always looked forward to the day they could put their daughter's hair in pigtails.
How. Cute. I love pigtails – we wore Becky's hair up like Pebbles for an entire year.
She wont' let us do that anymore.
She looks ADORABLE with pigtails, but I can't help but think you're just rubbing it in that your kid has as much hair as mine, despite being over a year younger.
BBM – Actually, my motivation is more to piss the husband off, seeing how he hates to see me tame the baby perm the kid has got going on.

It's a good obsession! I jumped up and down with glee when I could get Miss-Miss's hair up in pigtails. Congratulations!
