How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Posted By on July 27, 2008

Hit the Natural History Museum in DC.

Pretended to make out with some big cats.
Gave Mommy a workout when the stroller tire went flat.
Headed to grandma’s house, the best place to be a goofball.
Blew kisses at the birds in grandpa’s backyard.
Watched Mommy get back on that mean old horse.
Bonded with Grandpa when he took us to the zoo.Met a big turtle.

And a big bear.
And a big kitty.
Squawked at some parrots.
Checked out the crappy petting zoo.

And cooled off in a giant mist.

There was also some teething, sleepless nights, dog tormenting, naked running, marathon Disney watching, carseat hating, food throwing, new people shyness, and being drug around to all of the parent’s old favorite places.

Good vacation.

Mommy will be back tomorrow, she’s got some issues she’s dealing with today. I’ve got to go now and be all cute and cheer her up.

I hope "issues" isn't anything too serious.

I swear you grew at least three inches in the past few weeks, Miss E. Feel free to slow down. Like, now.

Looks like you had a great time. Too bad I couldn't see you again while you were back home :( but it looks like you stayed busy. I agree with burgh baby, you need to stop growing and looking so darn cute :)

    Dear E,
Glad you're having such a great summer. Give your mom a kiss. It will make her feel better. Pinky-swear. :)
