"Give The Fork Back To Mommy, Dear"

Posted By on November 28, 2008

It was a “Meh” kind of day around here. A morning of parade watching, the beginnings of purging for the move, and wiping snot every five seconds. Holiday-esque, no?

Being that we only had chicken noodle soup and cheese in the house, something had to be done about dinner. Cracker Barrel solved that dilemma with an absolutely huge spread of everything traditional at a ridiculously cheap price. Two of our party of three ended up happy and full.

The third member of our little entourage was having issues all her own. The range and speed at which items within reach were being chucked from the table was actually enough to make the people next to us move (or so we think). I’m constantly amazed at the arm span that kid has.

I was thankful she finally knocked if off and gnawed on a biscuit long enough for the rest of us to eat. And I’m sure she was thankful that we eventually came back home and let her go back to being her miserable, tired and sniffling self.

I love Cracker Barrel, nothing better than cheap home cookin'.
    Happy Thanksgiving

PS. I'm guessing the packing to move means that M got the job?

We're still in limbo on the job, but have to be out by the end of December. Ohio is going to be getting one looooong visit from us.
