Not Compatible With Thugs

Posted By on December 15, 2008

I like to give people a chance. Really, I do try. I do my best not to judge on appearances, or language, or whatever. Goodness only knows how I could be judged.

But when a professional moving company sends a pair of shady, near drug dealing, foul speaking packers to my house, I judge.

Seriously. I am currently sitting in my stairwell, near fuming.

I do not want to hear about what your woman did last night.

I do not want to hear how much you sold that stolen phone for.

I do not want to hear how high you were on Saturday.

I do not want to hear you bitch about how many things you have to pack.

I do not want to hear you bitch about how thirsty you are.

I do not want to hear you go in my cabinets, get a glass, drink out of it, and then pack it.

I do not want to hear you swearing as you smash my breakables into a box.

I do not want to hear you come out of my bathroom after surely stinking it up.

I do not want you in my house, and I sure as hell wish I had just done this myself.

Are you kidding? You should call the moving company. That is not acceptable behavior.

I hope the rest of the move goes more smoothly.

Why oh why do we cave and let the army do things "for us"?? I felt pretty much the same way about our move this last time… Oh and we're still discovering things that we're missing! (Things have a way of getting dropped off at the wrong people's houses when more than one household is on the same truck…) Keep a lookout! Gosh. Sorry you're having to deal with all this right now!

Sounds horrible! I am sorry you were given such terrible movers. I hope all your stuff is packed well and makes it's way back to you!

Wow, seriously? Gad. I wish I was down there helping you. I'm so very sorry, hon.

    Stole a plane?!? Damn…

oi! My goodness, chica. What a nightmare! Was the hubby around? I would be furious about this — seriously, not acceptable.

I hope the rest of your trip up north goes more smoothly.

  6. Crazy Mama says:

You so need to call the moving company and complain. My husband was a packer/mover for several years on and off and this is completely unacceptable behavior!

I feel like washing and sanitizing every cup on planet Earth, just in case that doofus has been near it. YUCK!

Good luck with the move. I hope this is the worst part of it.
