Zippity Zoo Da!

On Saturday, we took full advantage of the heat wave Cleveland was experiencing and headed out to the zoo. A few free tickets (thanks to those military IDs way back when) and a super excited brother-in-law of mine added up to a really fun day. I had both the husband and Uncle D to chase after E, and thusly was able to waddle contented behind everyone, camera in hand.
I couldn’t walk the next day, or the one after that, but it was so worth it. Why? Because E loooooooves the zoo. Loves loves loves it.
She gets to twirl.
She gets to laugh. A lot.
And she gets to run. Down steep hills. And up steep hills. And all around in between.
We get to ride elephants.
(And laugh when Mommy gets stuck up there).

And we get to enjoy some of the best company around.
Company that dotes on little girls with bouncy curls and bright blue eyes.

Is his beard red?
Sorry, that is all I can think about right now, because his hair is not red.
When Derek was growing out a beard last month I swear I saw red in it. Strange.
Yup, it has lots of red in it. I think that's where E gets the red that shows up in her hair sometimes too.
