Visions of Things to Come

Blossom Time. The best time. Parades, random spottings of people from high school, junk food and carnies. We look forward to this every year . . . almost as much as the county fair.
Want to know just how lame I am though? I’m sure you do. I seriously had the thought of how cool it would be to spot this blogger there. Yes. I’m almost guilty of blog stalking. Lame-O.
Anyways, we would have been the easy ones to spot. A spectacle in ourselves, with the toddler permanently covering her ears and burrowing up my shirt ( sirens! and hot air balloons! and clowns! dear God!) and the fiery haired baby being shielded from nosy strangers crowding around in gaggles. Apparently the baby boom generation has never seen a redheaded baby. We seriously had people IN the parade ON floats calling out to the husband about the baby. It got a little freaky towards the end there.
Lesson learned. Buy sun hats. Lots and lots of sun hats. There is no end in sight.

Awesome pictures. And? I have to admit. I totally would have been one of the "LOOK AT THAT RED HAIR!!!!!!" people. *Hanging my head in shame.*
So, give that red head a smooch for me! 'Kay?
Awww :( I'm sad we missed you guys. I was totally blog stalking you too and looked for you guys, but didn't see you. We will be back in town again next weekend through Tuesday. Maybe we can get together for lunch or something.
I actually didn't see anyone I know at the parade (Which can sometimes be a good thing, depending on who you run into, shhh I didn't say that).
Looks like a lot of fun. Cute pics!
I was there EVERY day of the weekend. How could you have missed us… three whiny children screaming for more cotton candy. LOL.
I'm going to just assume that is a Pens playoff beard. Woohooo!
You want sad stalkerishness? I drove through your neck of the woods a few months ago and totally was all, "I wonder if Yankee Drawl is in that car?" THAT is pitifulness right there. ;-)
