There was cake!
Two cakes, actually.
And there were two birthday girls waiting to celebrate with all their family.
There were presents, along with ribbons and bows and bags and wrapping paper. Tons and tons of wrapping paper.
There were toys and games and dolls and books and clothes. And wrapping paper. Can’t forget the wrapping paper.
And then there were the two loving parents who carted the beautiful birthday girls 342 miles for one weekend of celebration. One of whom may or may not have singed her hair.
Afterwards, the loving parents loaded the tiny car with all the presents from the loving family and began the 342 mile trek home while battling cold and the stomach flu.
Eventually, they all lived happily ever after.
The end.
Umm, lady bug cake? LOVE! What a beautiful family photo of you all! Happy birthday to the girls, and kudos to you for making the trek…and then making the trek home, with the flu! GAH!!

Once you are feeling better, I’ll start guilt-tripping you about making us all look bad with your mad cake-decorating skillz.
