*wipes keyboard with bleach*

*sweeps pile of kleenex to the side*

*gets up to refill Ginger Ale*

*hack hack cough cough*

*adds to pile of kleenex*

*runs upstairs to put hacking toddler back to bed*

*also puts hacking preschooler back to bed*

*and feverish, hacking husband*

*sits*

*waits*

*leaps off couch to clean cat puke*

*wonders if cats have caught the flu*

*prays flu will not be passed back*

*bleach wipes*

*more bleach wipes*

*hack hack cough cough*

*sniffle*

“AAAACCHHHOOOOO!!!”

*adds to pile on floor*

*uses last bleach wipe on keyboard*

*sniffle*

Thank you so much to everyone who “came out” in my last post, way back when. I meant to say it quite a few days ago, but was promptly knocked on my ass by the flu, two sick kids, a head cold and now a sick husband. We finally got around to posting the “quarantine” sign on the front door, so hopefully the neighbors appreciate that.

Tomorrow is a new start and, in theory, I get to wake up and begin my week exactly as I should. No puke buckets required.

In theory.

A few trashcans worth of kleenex, however, are most definitely in the forecast.

*sniffle*
