You Capture: People
Posted By jayna on December 1, 2011
For an entire week, our household has been full of the plague. Now, it’s down to just the baby and me, hacking and coughing all night long. I don’t even have the energy, strength or voice to yell at the girls anymore. That, my friends, is challenging.
Sooooo, instead of all the stories we’ve had popping up around here, I’m just going to be all “Look! Shiny! Pictures! Oooh!” for y’all. Lovely, lovely pictures of all these people in my house . . . the ones bringing home the plague and making us all sick in the first place.
On Thursday, we were thankful – for full bellies, a clean kitchen at home and a wonderful meal in Shenandoah National Park. The view of the sunset afterwards didn’t hurt the feeling one bit. This person felt like she was on top of the world and wanted to never leave.

By the weekend, we were down for the count, relying on movies to entertain the little people.
(except the baby, of course, because yeah . . . no)

When this person dragged herself out of the house on an unseasonably warm day, she had a little bit of fun with the new car. (The color is finally growing on me . . . as is the car)

Slowly but surely, the little people have recovered. They are back to happily running, jumping, screaming and rolling around in neon chalk dust.

But, of course, the last little person is the last to recover. There is no sadder sound than a newborn coughing and hacking in the middle of the night . . . especially when his mama is doing the same, right along with him.
